Andrew Reid appoints new APAC regional director Darren McSorley

Commissioning Engineering firm Andrew Reid part of the Hurley Palmer Flatt Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Darren McSorley as it new regional director in Asia Pacific.

Darren is a specialist in information communications technology (ICT) infrastructure, with an engineering career spanning over 30 years at companies including The Frame Group, WIT Consulting, The Siemon Company and Leighton Contracting.

Darren has played a key role in major, innovative projects, including the extra low voltage (ELV) system at Wynn Palace Casino in Macau, HSBC’s Hyperscale Data Centre in Hong Kong, and IBM’s delivery of the Sydney Olympics Overlay.

He joins Andrew Reid from The Frame Group, where he was executive director, responsible for the growth and day-to-day operations of the organisation, which provides clients with ICT services and digital transformation solutions.

Darren will play a vital role in ensuring Andrew Reid’s superior commissioning engineering services are accessible to an even bigger clientele across APAC.
