Buckingham Seawater Cooling

HDR | Andrew Reid’s Data Centre team is pleased to be engaged as commissioning agent for an exciting and innovative new data centre cooling project in Finland for a global blue-chip corporation.

The firm first pioneered the use of cold seawater taken from the Bay of Finland as a heat sink for its data centre in 2011. A second seawater cooling plant is now under construction to support the expanding data centre campus. The project is part of the corporation’s global expansion effort and builds on the their initiative to improve sustainability and energy efficiency for all of its facilities.

HDR | Andrew Reid is proud to have supported this client in Finland since 2012.
