Design Appointment Secured for The National Gallery

Andrew Reid have been appointed as building services consultants for The National Gallery’s new Accommodation Hub project.

The north eastern corner of the gallery is to be reconfigured to provide an accommodation hub facility. The majority of the works will occur at both basement and ground floor levels and with office spaces being formed within the new lightwells. The areas will be fully serviced mechanically to provide air conditioning and/or ventilation as required. Electrical services will include energy efficient lighting primarily of LED sources with automatic control including dimming to suit use and daylight provision, small power, IT, fire detection and alarm and security including CCTV and access control.
